Cancer is ugly. But we’re not cancer.

When cancer patients feel better, their chances of recovery are better. So how could the largest drugstore in America remind women they can be beautiful while battling?

We created a program that paired pharmacy expertise with cancer-specific beauty care so that every woman can battle beautifully.

The tone of the campaign was a huge departure from what Walgreens was used to, and was a giant leap of faith by everyone involved. It paid off — it’s the most successful campaign to date.

In addition to a full social rollout, we made GIFs for people to download from GIPHY and use in their messages and social posts. We also used them in response to people’s own battle stories.
